The birthday ring is a wonderful European tradition that brings the family around the table to hear and tell stories to celebrate the birthday child. Place candles or wooden figures that are sized for birthday rings in the holes, one candle for each year and wooden figures in the rest (or leave the rest empty if you don't have figures.) This 4 piece European wooden birthday ring set forms a circle or other design of your choice. Each piece measures approx. 6.25 in. long x 1.5 in. across x .75 wide (width measured top to bottom each piece). The color is a beautiful royal blue (darker than the light blue appearance in the photo), with a pretty hand-painted design in between each of the candle hole spaces.
